This is a companion volume to the author's previous book, The World Teacher for All Humanity (2007), and emphasizes the nature of Maitreya as World Teacher, the Embodiment of Love and Wisdom on this planet.
    It focuses on the day when Maitreya declares Himself openly as World Teacher for the Age of Aquarius and describes the process of Maitreya's emergence, the steps leading to the Day of Declaration, and humanity's response to this momentous experience.
    The core text of this book is Benjamin Creme's 1994 keynote talk about his Master's article 'To Serve Anew', first published in Maitreya's Mission, Vol.III (1997). This is followed by questions and answers from Share International magazine about the events on and after the Day of Declaration, most of which had not previously been published in book form.
